SUBSCRIBE: PARIS - Atelier Gustavo Lins was created by designer Gustavo Lins who, at first, was an architect in Brazil. It's obvious from his architectural pieces and shapes in his garments where silk, taffeta, and other fabrics are worked around the body in such a way that it's not immediately apparent that he began his career as an architect (the clothes aren't sharp with insets like the more sculpture Versace) but wrapped like a kimono to create unique lines and drapery not seen in the pieces of other designers. Colors including rich greens, reds, blacks, and grays. Lins collaborated with Walter Steiger on the unique shoes for the show.
